Donations are tax deductible. An acknowledgement will be sent for each donation to Allegheny Trail Alliance (ATA), which includes a tax exemption note for your tax records.

You, too, can give back to the Great Allegheny Passage. Here are some ways you can help:

Join a Trail Group
Local trail groups maintain the trail to the benefit of all who use it. These groups rely upon memberships to stay afloat. Most individual and family memberships range between $10 and $40. Visit our Trail Groups page to find the group nearest you.

Volunteer
The trail depends on the dedication of our volunteers. Please contact any of the local trail groups to lend a hand. Visit our Trail Groups page for the list of groups and to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

Make a Financial Contribution
Volunteer efforts of our trail builders make the money go far, but don't cover all of the costs to develop and maintain the trail. Please consider making a financial contribution to any of our member trail organizations or to the Allegheny Trail Alliance directly. Donations can be made to the ATA via PayPal or through the mail. The Friends of the Riverfront and Montour Trail Council accept online donations. To donate to any of the other groups, please use our donation form.

Help us close the last gap in the GAP
We're aiming to complete the last gap to Pittsburgh by June 2012. Donations can be made in support of the campaign at our Trail Store, by PayPal, or through the mail.

Shop in our Trail Store
Put your money where your back is and buy a "Get to the Point" t-shirt in support of our campaign to complete the trail to Pittsburgh. Or buy TrailBook to help you plan your day trip or thru-trek. This and other t-shirts, books, and trail merchandise support the trail. You can shop at our online Trail Store or stop by the West Newton Visitor Center to make purchases in person.

Support the Trail through iGive
You may also support the trail when you shop at your favorite on-line stores by going through www.igive.com. Simply select the Allegheny Trail Alliance (ATARTC) as your cause, then go to your favorite stores, and up to 26% of your purchases will go towards building the Great Allegheny Passage.
